Round Steak & Rice Recipe
- 1 1/2 pound round steak, cut in thin strips
- 2 tbsp. veg. oil
- 1 c. diced onion
- 1 c. regular rice
- 1 can (10.5 ounce.) beef broth
- 1 c. water
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 green pepper, minced
- 1 jar (2 ounce.) pimento, liquid removed
- Brown beef in oil.
- Stir in onions, rice, beef broth, water and soy sauce.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat.
- Cover and cook over low heat about 25 min.
- Stir in green peppers and pimentos and cook for approximately 5-10 min longer.
