Chicken Pita Sandwiches
- 1 packages fat free cream cheese (softened)
- 3 tbsp skim milk
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cup cooked chicken breast (cubed)
- 1/2 cup green pepper (chopped)
- 2 tbsp green onions (chopped)
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp pepper (1/8 prefer)
- 3 tbsp walnuts (chopped) (optional)
- 3 pita breads (halved)
- 1 packages alfalfa sprouts
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese,milk and lemon juice until smooth.
- Then stir in the chicken,green pepper,onions,mustard,thyme and pepper.
- Then refrigerate.
- Before serving, stir in the walnuts.
- (optional)
- Spoon out about 1/2 cup filling into each pita half.
- And top it off with alfalfa sprouts.
