KRAFT RECIPE MAKERS Beef Burgundy
- 2 lb. beef stew meat Safeway 1 lb For $5.49 thru 02/09
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 lb. baby carrots Target 2 lb For $3.00 thru 02/06
- 1 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
- 3/4 cup dry red wine
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 pkg. (16.6 oz.) KRAFT RECIPE MAKERS New England Pot Roast
- 1-1/2 cups long-grain white rice, uncooked
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- Toss meat with flour; place in slow cooker.
- Add carrots, mushrooms, wine, bay leaf and Simmer Sauce; cover.
- Cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours (or on HIGH 4 to 6 hours).
- 15 Minutes Before Serving
- Cook rice as directed on package, omitting salt.
- Meanwhile, add Finishing Sauce to slow cooker; mix well.
- Discard bay leaf.
- Serve meat mixture over rice; sprinkle with parsley.
