Pork Chops Tenderized with Mayonnaise
- 600 grams Pork chunk (any cut)
- 1 dash Salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1/2 large Onion
- 1 clove Garlic
- 3 tbsp Ketchup
- 2 tbsp Okonomiyaki sauce
- 100 ml Water (sake or wine imparts a richer flavour)
- 1 Easy melting cheese
- Cut the chunk of meat into about 1 cm slices.
- If it's cutlets, there's no need to cut.
- Put small cuts in the surface against the grain, then pound the meat with the back of a knife.
- Add mayonnaise and work it into the meat.
- Let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mince the onion and garlic.
- Heat a pan, and pan-fry both sides of the pork.
- You don't need oil because you're using mayonnaise.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper.
- Remove the meat from the pan.
- Add garlic and onion to the pan, and stir-fry until fragrant.
- Pour ketchup, okonomiyaki sauce, and water, and bring to a boil
- When the sauce is reduced by half, return the meat.
- Coat with the sauce, add plenty of melting cheese, and it's done.
- With pork filet.
- Any kind of meat will become tender.
