Peanut Chess Pie Recipe
- 9 inch unbaked pie shell
- 1/3 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tbsp. cornmeal
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2/3 c. minced roasted peanuts
- Heat butter, blend sugar and meal together and add in to butter.
- Add in Large eggs, vinegar and vanilla extract.
- Add in peanuts and mix well.
- Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
- Serves 6.
