Apple Gingerbread Cobbler Recipe

  1. Stir together 2 c. gingerbread mix and 3/4 c. water till smooth; set mix aside.
  2. Stir together remaining gingerbread mix and brown sugar; cut in 1/4 c. butter till mix is crumbly.
  3. Stir in pecans; set aside.
  4. Combine apple pie filling and remaining 1/4 c. butter in a large saucepan, and cook, stirring often, 5 min over medium heat or possibly till thoroughly heated.
  5. Spoon warm apple mix proportionately into a lightly greased 11x7-inch baking dish.
  6. Spoon gingerbread mix proportionately over warm apple mix; sprinkle with pecan mix.
  7. Bake at 375 for 30 to 35 min or possibly till set.
  8. Serve cobbler with vanilla ice cream.
  9. Yield: Makes 8 servings.
