Kiwifruit Sorbet
- 2 pounds (1 kg) ripe kiwifruits (10 to 15)
- 3/4 cup (150 g) sugar
- 1 1/3 cups (330 ml) water
- Peel the kiwifruits and pluck out the woody nubbins within the stem ends, using the point of a paring knife.
- Cut the kiwifruits into chunks and puree them in a blender or food processor (youll should have 2 cups, or 500 ml, of puree).
- Add the sugar and water and blend until smooth.
- Chill the mixture thoroughly, then freeze it in your ice cream maker according to the manufacturers instructions.
