Sweet Smelling Green Tea Fluffy Bread Rolls
- 120 grams Bread (strong) flour
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 tbsp = 7 grams Skim milk powder
- 1/2 tbsp = 3 grams Green tea leaves (finely grated in a mill etc.)
- 1 tbsp = 10 grams Sugar
- 1/2 tbsp = 5 grams Margarine
- 1 tsp = 3 grams Instant dry yeast
- 70 ml Water
- Place the bowl you will be using on the scale.
- Measure in all of the ingredients in order from the top.
- Knead well for at least 15 minutes and gather it into one lump.
- It should not stick to your hands and should be easy to work with.
- Once it is neatly gathered together, cover with a damp cloth and let it sit for 45 minutes to complete the first rising.
- After 45 minutes, it will have risen to this size, about double the original.
- Separate into 5 pieces and form them into balls.
- 1 ball is about 40 g.
- Cover Step 5 with a damp cloth and let sit for 20 minutes to complete the second rising.
- Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180C.
- After 20 minutes, they should have risen about 1.5x larger than the original size.
- In the 180C oven, bake for 12 minutes and then they are done!
