JELL-O Firecrackers

  1. Add 2/3 cup boiling water to berry gelatin mix in small bowl; stir 2 min.
  2. until completely dissolved.
  3. Repeat in separate bowl with cherry gelatin mix.
  4. Cool.
  5. Meanwhile, sprinkle unflavored gelatine over 1/4 cup milk in medium bowl; let stand 5 min.
  6. Bring remaining milk to simmer in saucepan.
  7. Remove from heat; stir in sugar and vanilla.
  8. Add to plain gelatine mixture; stir until gelatine is completely dissolved.
  9. Cool 10 min.
  10. Spoon berry gelatin into 20 (1-oz.)
  11. plastic shot glasses sprayed lightly with cooking spray, adding about 2 tsp.
  12. to each.
  13. Refrigerate 15 min.
  14. or until set but not firm.
  15. Top with unflavored gelatine mixture, adding about 2 tsp.
  16. to each cup.
  17. Refrigerate 10 min.
  18. Insert cherry, stem end up, into white gelatine layer in each cup.
  19. Refrigerate 2 min.
  20. Cover with cherry gelatin, adding about 2 tsp.
  21. to each cup.
  22. Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
  23. Remove desserts from cups before serving.
