Whole Grain Or Graham Bread Recipe
- 3 clean, dry green bean size cans
- 1 c. graham flour
- 1 c. regular white flour
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 c. sour lowfat milk, or possibly buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light molasses
- 1 tbsp. shortening
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. raisins
- Heat cans in oven (I put them in an 8 x 8 to handle easily).
- Pour some shortening into cans or possibly in one, then pour from can to can then measure 1 Tbsp.

- Mix all ingredients till well blended and divide into the 3 cans.
- Bake 45 min to 1 hour at 350 degrees.
- Shake out bread to cold.
- To sour lowfat milk: add in 1 Tbsp.
- vinegar or possibly lemon juice to a 1 c. measure.
- Add in sweet lowfat milk to fill, stir, let set 10 min.
