Easy Tamales Recipe

  1. Brown grnd beef and onion, season with salt and pepper.
  2. Pour off grease.
  3. Add in chili and soups to meat, heat through.
  4. Smear bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan with small amount of meat mix.
  5. Spoon about 1/3 c. of meat mix onto middle of shell, mix in half and place in pan.
  6. Continue to fill shells and lay in pan overlapping just a bit making one layer.
  7. Sprinkle cheese on shells.
  8. Second layer, same as first, but lay shells in opposite directions.
  9. Again sprinkle with cheese.
  10. Pour remaining meat mix over the top.
  11. Sprinkle with cheese.
  12. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 20 min.
