Blackberry Pear Crisp Recipe

  2. Lightly oil a 9- by 12-inch baking pan and arrange pear slices in bottom of pan.
  3. Cover with Blackberries, then currants.
  4. Mix together maple syrup, arrowroot, lemon juice, and rind, and drizzle over pear mix.
  5. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  7. In a large bowl combine oats, butter, honey, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cardamom.
  8. Crumble over pear mix.
  9. Bake crisp till pears are tender and oats are lightly browned (30 to 40 min).
  10. Serve hot.
