Barbecue Beef with OPEN PIT
- 3 gal. ground beef
- 1-3/4 qt. onions, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1-1/4 qt. green peppers, chopped
- 2-1/2 qt. OPEN PIT Original Restaurant Recipe Barbecue Sauce
- Brown meat in stock pot on medium-high heat; drain.
- Add onions and peppers; cook 5 minutes or until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
- Drain, if necessary.
- Return to heat.
- Stir in barbecue sauce.
- Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer until thickened, stirring occasionally.
