Hot Sausage Dip
- 1 pound ground pork sausage
- 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers, drain and reserve liquid
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon chipotle chile powder, or more to taste
- 3/4 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Lightly grease a 1-quart baking dish.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook and stir sausage in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease.
- Stir sausage, diced tomatoes with green chile peppers and its reserved liquid, cream cheese, sour cream, and chipotle chile power together in a bowl; spoon into prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle Cheddar cheese over the sausage mixture.
- Bake in preheated oven until bubbly, 20 to 25 minutes.
