Mushroom Burgers

  1. Mix the ground chuck and pork sausage together well.
  2. Form thin burgers that are uniform in size.
  3. Fry the bacon crisp and remove it from the grease; reserving some of the grease.
  4. Crumble the bacon.
  5. To the reserved grease, add the onion, mushroom, and garlic.
  6. Saute to tender.
  7. Drain well.
  8. Mix the bacon and vegetables together.
  9. Place a hamburger patty on a flat surface and top with 2 tablespoons of the bacon mixture in the center.
  10. Top with another thin burger and seal the edges.
  11. Grill to desired doneness.
