German Stuffed Peppers

  1. Cook rice halfway
  2. Mix meat, onion, rice.
  3. Add salt/pepper to taste
  4. Cut off top and clean out inside of peppers, hard boil peppers for 5 minutes and remove
  5. Mix meat and rice
  6. Stuff the meat mixture as tightly as possible into the peppers
  7. Spread sauerkraut on bottom of a baking dish
  8. Put peppers in dish, pour in crushed tomato paste about halfway up the peppers
  9. Bake between 90 minutes to 2 hours at 325F Fahrenheit
