Salami and Swiss Burgers
- 1 14 lbs ground chuck
- 1 egg (optional)
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 34 teaspoon pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices salami
- 4 slices swiss cheese
- mustard (optional)
- mayonnaise (optional)
- ketchup (optional)
- tomatoes, slices (optional)
- onion, slices (optional)
- pickle, slices (optional)
- Mix ground chuck with egg, worcestershire, salt, and pepper.
- Form into 4 or 5 patties about 1/2 inch thick, and 4 inches in diameter.
- Grill 5-6 minutes on each side, or 4-5 minutes in a skillet.
- Toast 4 buns and spread with mayonnaise, ketchupor mustard if desired.
