Barbecued Biscuit

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients in medium bowl.
  2. Cut in butter or margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add sour milk.
  4. Stir until just moistened.
  5. Turn out dough onto lightly floured surface.
  6. Knead 8 to 10 times.
  7. Flatten dough into 3/4 inch thick disc.
  8. Place on 1 sheet of greased heavy-duty (or double layer of regular) foil.
  9. Do not enclose.
  10. Preheat grill to high.
  11. Place foil with dough on 1 side of ungreased grill.
  12. Turn off burner under foil, turning opposite burner down to medium.
  13. Close lid.
  14. Cook for 15 to 18 minutes, rotating foil at halftime, until biscuit is lightly golden.
  15. ut into 8 wedges.
  16. To make sour milk: Measure 1 tbsp white vinegar orlemon juice into 1 cup liquid measure.
  17. Add milk to make 3/4 cup liquid.
  18. Stir.
