I-Cube Burgers
- 1 egg, beaten
- 14 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 1 cup honey garlic barbecue sauce (Diana, Honey Garlic Flavour)
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- 1 12 lbs lean ground beef
- 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
- 1 ciabatta or 1 baguette or 6 buns
- 12 cup garlic and herb marinade (Diana, Garlic and Herb Flavor)
- 6 slices monterey jack cheese
- hot pepper rings
- Whisk egg with bread crumbs, 1/4 cup sauce, garlic, salt and pepper, Crumble in ground beef, mix well.
- Form into 6 square patties.
- Blend 2 tablespoons each mayonnaise and sauce until combined; reserve.
- Preheat grill to medium.
- Grill burgers for 8 minutes; turn and baste with remaining sauce or to taste.
- Grill for 6-8 minutes or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of bugers registers 160-F .
- Meanwhile, cut ciabatta baguette into 6 equal squares to fit burgers; slice open.
- Brush bread cut sides with 1/2 cup marinade and grill until toasted.
- Arrange cooked burgers on toasted bread; tp with cheese and hot pepper rings.
- Slather with mayo auce.
- VARIATIONS:.
- For a BLT buger, use Diana Sauce Original flavour in the burger and on the grill; top with crisp bacon, lettuce and tomato.
- For a maple 'n cheddar burger use Diana sauce, Maple flavor in the burger and on the grill; top with sliced red onion, avocado and aged cheddar cheese.
