skye's easy lemon drop cookies

• 1 box of your favorite lemon cake mix
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 lemon, zest and juice
• 1 8 ounce bowl cool whip, whipped topping
• 1 cup powdered sugar set aside to roll cookies in

1. preheat oven to 350F
2. mix the first 3 ingredients together.
3. .. then fold in whipped topping.
4. dough will be "stiff"
5. put powdered sugar in a bowl
6. take teaspoonfuls of dough and roll them into balls
7. drop them into the bowl of powdered sugar and roll around to coat completely
8. place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8 - 12 minutes
9. transfer baked cookies to wire rack to cool completely
10. makes approximately 4 dozen cookies
