Ann's Coleslaw

  1. Mix cabbage and onions.
  2. Sprinkle evenly with sugar.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients and bring them to a boil.
  4. Pour liquid over cabbage and onion.
  5. Let stand 12 hours.
  6. Refrigerate.
