Chocolate Decadence Recipe

  1. Generously butter bottom of 8 1/2 springform pan; set aside.
  2. In heavy saucepan, heat chocolate and butter.
  3. Stir in sugar and water till well blended.
  4. Beat in egg yolks one at a time.
  5. Beat egg whites till stiff but not dry.
  6. When chocolate has cooled slightly, gently fold 1/4 the chocolate mix into egg whites.
  7. Repeat with remaining chocolate.
  8. Pour into prepared pan.
  9. Bake in a preheated 425 degree oven 15 min.
  10. (Cake will look under-baked.)
  11. Cold on wire rack.
  12. Chill or possibly freeze.
  13. Prepare Raspberry Sauce.
