Potato Patties

  1. In a medium saucepan, cook potatoes in boiling water for 15 minutes or until tender.
  2. Drain well.
  3. Mash potatoes well.
  4. Stir in butter, milk, egg, salt and pepper.
  5. Beat until smooth.
  6. When mixture is cool enough to handle, scoop out 1 inch balls.
  7. Flatten and roll in crushed crumbs and place on a greased baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 15 min at 450 or until browned.
  9. Turn once halfway through cooking.
