My Favorite Dorito Casserole
- 1 lb hamburger or 1 lb chicken
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup (I use the reduced fat)
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup (I use the reduced fat)
- 1 (10 ounce) can rotel (original or sometimes I use the hotter one depends on my mood)
- 0.5 (12 ounce) bag nacho cheese flavor Doritos
- 2 -3 green onions, chopped, i usually omit (optional)
- 1 (8 ounce) bagshredded mexican cheese (use your own judgment, I like extra cheese)
- 0.5 (12 ounce) bag nacho cheese flavor Doritos, finely crushed
- Brown and drain hamburger.
- Combine all ingredients except the topping ingredients.
- You may apply the Doritos whole, but I prefer slightly crushed.
- Put in a 9 x 13 pan or 2 quart casserole dish.
- Bake at 350F for 35 minutes.
- Remove and top with finely crushed chips and cheese bake for an addition 10 minutes.
