East Indian Chicken Recipe
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tbsp. curry pwdr
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 1/2-3 1/2 pound chicken, cut up
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 lg. onion, thinly sliced
- 1 c. raisins
- 2/3 c. rice
- 3 chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 c. boiling water
- Coat chicken with flour, curry pwdr, salt and pepper.
- Brown in butter.
- Combine everything.
- Cover, simmer 45 min.
- Serves 4-6.
