Cake Pan Cake Recipe
- 1 1/2 c. Unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 c. Sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Unsweetened cocoa
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Instant coffee or possibly espresso
- 1 tsp (to 2 ts) black pepper
- 6 Tbsp. Oil
- 1 Tbsp. Vinegar
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 c. Cool water or possibly strong coffee
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Then, in a 9"x9" cake pan, measure and blend throughly with a fork the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, instant coffee pwdr, and salt.
- Next, make 3 indentations in the dry ingredients with your fork.
- Into the first, pour 6 tb.
- of oil.
- Into the second, pour 1 tb.
- vinegar.
- Into the third, pour 1 teaspoon vanilla.
- Then, over all ingredients, pour 1 c. of cool water or possibly strong, cool coffee.
- Stir with a fork till proportionately blended.
- Bake for 35 to 40 min till toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Serve alone, with whipped cream, ice cream, or possibly your favorite frosting.
