Charaben Soccer Ball Rice Balls

  1. Put the rice into some plastic wrap and shape into balls.
  2. Not really balls, but rather domes so that they work better in the bento box.
  3. Use a five-pointed cookie cutter to make a template from kitchen parchment paper.
  4. I used a star-shaped cookie cutter and drew lines (the red dotted lines) and cut that out.
  5. It was easy!
  6. Using the template, cut the nori (1 ball uses 6 shapes).
  7. Attach the nori to the ball to finish!
  8. If you can attach a thin line of nori between the corners, it's even more realistic!
  9. To make a Rilakkuma bento, refer to this recipe!.
