Green Chile & Cilantro Rice

  1. Prep your onions, garlic and cilantro.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pot.
  3. Add onion, cook for 5 min til transclucent.
  4. Add garlic, cook for 30 to 60 seconds.
  5. Add chilis, cook for 30 seconds.
  6. Add rice, cilantro, pepper and sazon or salt.
  7. Mix.
  8. Add water and mix.
  9. Cover completely with lid and turn to a low heat.
  10. Cook for 20 min.
  11. Set your timer, the time is important.
  12. DO NOT uncover or mix the rice while it's cooking.
  13. It will be sticky if you do.
  14. Turn heat off after 20 min and let rest for 5 min uncovered.
  15. Use a fork to fluff the rice.
  16. Ready to eat!
