Grandmas Meatloaf
- 1 slice Bread, Broken Into Small Pieces
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 cups Chopped Onion
- 2 whole Eggs, Beaten
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1- 1/2 pound Lean Ground Beef
- 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Ketchup
- 1/4 teaspoons Nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoons Dry Mustard
- Soak broken up bread in the milk for 20 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine onion, eggs, salt and pepper to the ground beef.
- Add the milk and bread mixture.
- Press into a loaf pan.
- Combine brown sugar, ketchup, nutmeg and dry mustard.
- Spread over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours.
- Drain off any liquid before serving.
