Layered Cherry Mold
- 1-1/2 cups boiling water
- 2 pkg. (3 oz. each) JELL-O Cherry Flavor Gelatin
- 1-1/2 cups cold water
- 1-1/2 cups dark sweet cherries, halved, pitted
- 1-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
- Add boiling water to gelatin mixes in large bowl; stir 2 min.
- until completely dissolved.
- Stir in cold water.
- Refrigerate 1-1/4 hours or until slightly thickened.
- Reserve 1-1/2 cups of the gelatin; set aside at room temperature.
- Stir cherries into remaining gelatin; spoon into 6-cup mold or bowl sprayed with cooking spray.
- Refrigerate 15 min.
- or until set but not firm.
- Whisk COOL WHIP into reserved gelatin until well blended.
- Spoon over gelatin layer in mold.
- Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.
- Unmold before serving.
