Peanut Butter Bars Recipe

• 6 c. Special K's cereal
• 2 c. peanut butter or possibly med. jar
• 1 c. Karo syrup
• 1 c. sugar
• 1 huge Hershey's chocolate bar
• 6 ounce. chocolate chips

1. On the stove, dissolve sugar and Karo syrup till very clear.
2. In a big bowl, mix cereal and peanut butter (I usually microwave the peanut butter to soften).
3. Pour Karo syrup mix over the cereal and mix.
4. Pack into an oblong cake pan.
5. Heat the chocolate bar and chocolate chips and pour over the above mix.
6. Let set and cut into bars.
7. Be careful if you chill as it gets very hard.
