Maryann's Italian Pork Chops
- 6 pork chops or 6 pork steak
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 large green pepper, Chopped
- 1 large onion, Chopped
- 12 teaspoon minced garlic clove
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 14 cup chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon parsley or 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- salt & pepper
- Brown Pork Chops in butter and remove to a shallow 2 1/2 quart pan.
- Add Green Pepper, Onion and Garlic to pan and cook till just tender.
- Add remaining ingredients to skillet and stir to blend.
- Top Pork Chops with vegetable mixture and bake covered at 350 degrees for 45 - 50 minutes.
- Serve with rice.
