Braised Silverbeet With Sherry Vinegar Recipe
- 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 x red onion sliced
- 2 x cloves garlic chopped
- 1 bn silverbeet leaves removed from stalks and sliced Sea salt and freshly grnd black pepper to taste Sherry vinegar to taste
- Heat a heavy skillet over medium heat and add in oil.
- Add in onion and garlic, and saute/fry about 5 min till onion softens.
- Add in silverbeet and saute/fry till wilted.
- Cover and cook over low about 10 min, adding 1 to 2 tsp.
- water, if needed to moisten.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper and several splashes of vinegar.
