Barbecued Potato Kebabs Recipe

  2. Served with corn-on-the-cob and cole slaw (made from pre-grated cabbage, if you prefer), this meal recalls outdoor summer barbecues-a sure fire cure for winter doldrums.
  3. Preheat broiler.
  4. Starting with a potato, alternate potato and seitan chunks on metal skewers.
  5. (There should be sufficient for 8 average-length skewers.)
  6. Place on a foil-lined baking sheet and brush kebabs generously with barbecue sauce.
  7. Broil 4 min, then turn carefully, and broil for another 4 min.
  8. Remove from oven and serve right away.
