Shrimp Curry (easy)

  1. in a medium mixing bowl combine shrimp, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, and the garlic.
  2. stir with wooden spoon until the shrimp are evenly coated.
  3. set aside for 10 minutes.
  4. add vegetable oil to a wok or frying pan and set over medium-high heat.
  5. when the oil is hot add the red pepper and onion.
  6. cook, stirring constantly until the pepper is slightly softened, about 3 minutes.
  7. add the shrimp mixture.
  8. continue stirring and cooking until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through, about 3 minutes more.
  9. remove the wok or frying pan from the heat.
  10. add remaining tablespoon of soy sauce, the water, a pinch of pepper, and the curry powder.
  11. stir until blended.
  12. enjoy
