Apple Cream Pie
- 4 cups thinly sliced apples
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie
- Place apples in pie shell.
- Mix together sugar, flour, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
- Sprinkle this mixture over apples in shell.
- Melt the butter or margarine and stir into cream.
- Pour liquids over apples.
- Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 35 minutes.
