Oktoberfest Pork Chops
- 1/2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- Salt And Pepper
- 4 whole Regular-cut Boneless Pork Chops
- 2 cups Sliced Apples
- 1 cup Sauerkraut
- 1/2 teaspoons Fresh Thyme
- 1/4 teaspoons Caraway Seeds
- 1 cup Apple Cider
- 1.
- Heat the oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat.

- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper and brown lightly on both sides.
- 3.
- Add the apples, sauerkraut, thyme, caraway seeds, apple cider and spread the apple slices across the chops.
- 4.
- Bring the liquid to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer.
- Cover and simmer gently for 25 minutes.
- Season to taste and serve hot.
