D.'S Holiday Punch Recipe
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 pkg. (.21 ounce. each) unsweetened soft drink mix (any flavor)
- 8 c. cool water
- 2 cans (46 ounce. each) unsweetened pineapple juice (chilled)
- 4 bottles (33.8 ounce. each) ginger ale, chilled
- 1 bottle (4/5 qt) rum or possibly vodka (optional)
- In 10 qt punch bowl, dissolve sugar and drink.
- Fold in cool water.
- Stir in pineapple juice.
- Slowly add in ginger ale.
- May be "spiked" with rum or possibly vodka if you like.
- Just before serving, add in ice.
- Tropical Punch flavor is a favorite for the holidays.
- Makes 60 (5 oz) servings.
