Roast Beef in a Wine and Onion Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 3 whole Onions
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 3 pounds, 5 ounces, weight Beef (for Roasting)
- 1 cup White Wine
- 1/2 cups Malt Vinegar
- 1 cube Beef/meat Stock
- Salt To Taste
- 2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- Set your pressure cooker or regular pot to a medium heat setting.
- Add the olive oil.
- Peel and chop the onions in half.
- Peel the garlic and leave whole.
- Add the beef to the pan and turn for a couple of minutes until golden.
- Add the onion, the garlic, the wine, vinegar, the stock cube and salt to taste.
- (Keep in mind the saltiness from the stock and dont get carried away with the salt!
- Unless you want to, obviously.)
- Finally, add the pepper.
- Cover and cook on a pressure cooker for 45 minutes.
- or on a low heat setting for about 2 hours on a regular pot.
- Once cooked, set the beef aside and blend the rest (sauce, onions, garlic) together.
- Slice the beef and add to the sauce and it is ready to serve!
- Accompany with roasted potatoes, vegetables, stuffing ... a delicious and easy-to-make beef recipe!
