Butterscotch Icing
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3 tbsp. crisco
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- Combine brown sugar, Crisco and butter in saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly.
- Add milk and boil slowly for 3 minutes.
- Set it aside to cool to lukewarm.
- Add powdered sugar and beat until thick.
