Holiday Macaroons for Passover

  1. Heat oven to 325F.
  2. Mix first 4 ingredients in large bowl.
  3. Stir in egg whites and almond extract until well blended.
  4. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto lightly greased baking sheets.
  5. Press almond into center of each cookie.
  6. Bake 20 min.
  7. or until edges are golden brown.
  8. Immediately remove from baking sheets.
  9. Cool on wire racks.
