Chocolate-Peanut Butter Bar

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
  3. Melt 1 cup chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat, blending well.
  4. Beat sugar, eggs and vanilla in a bowl.
  5. Blend in chocolate.
  6. Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
  7. Add to chocolate mixture; mix well.
  8. Stir in chunky peanut butter.
  9. Pour into prepared pan.
  10. Bake for 25 minutes.
  11. Melt remaining chips with 1 teaspoons oil, stirring continually, in a small saucepan over low heat; set aside.
  12. Melt creamy peanut butter, stirring, in a small saucepan over low heat.
  13. Spread melted chocolate over baked layer.
  14. Drizzle melted peanut butter over chocolate; swirl with tip of knife.
  15. Chill until firm.
  16. Cut into bars.
