Cheesy Chili for a Crowd
- 2 lb. (900 g) extra-lean ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1 can (19 fl oz/540 mL) chili-style diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (19 fl oz/540 mL) kidney beans, rinsed
- 1 can (5.5 fl oz/156 mL) tomato paste
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 2 cups wagon wheel pasta, uncooked
- 1 cup Cheez Whiz Cheese Spread
- Brown meat with onions in Dutch oven or small stockpot on medium-high heat.
- Add tomatoes, beans, tomato paste, water, chili powder and cumin; mix well.
- Cover; simmer on medium-low heat 10 min.
- or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
- Drain pasta.
- Add Cheez Whiz to meat mixture in pan; stir until melted.
- Stir in pasta.
