Gingersnap Cookies

  1. Combine shortening and sugar in mixing bowl.
  2. Add molasses and egg.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
  4. Add dry ingredients to molasses mixture.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Roll into individual balls, roll through a bowl of sugar, and place on a greased cookie sheet.
  7. Press with a fork.
  8. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 minutes.
