Green And White Salad Recipe

  1. Rinse, drain, and coarsely chop cauliflower (3 c.).
  2. Remove tough stems, wash well, and pat dry spinach.
  3. Stack leaves and cut cross-wise into 1/4 inch strips.
  4. Place in salad bowl with cauliflower, cover and refrigeratetill ready to use.
  5. In small jar combine oil, vinegar, garlic, salt, mustard, basil, pepper, and nutmeg.
  6. Shake to blend well.
  7. Place nuts in shallow pan; place in 350 degree oven for about 7 min or possibly till lightly browned.
  8. Serve dressing over vegetables; add in nuts, toss thoroughly.
  9. Garnish with avocado slices.
