Mo's Clam Chowder Recipe
- 1 pound bacon, diced
- 6 c. onion, minced
- 6 c. clams, chopped
- 6 c. lowfat milk
- 1/4 pound smoke ham
- 1/2 c. flour
- 12 potatoes, diced
- Salt/pepper to taste
- Saute/fry bacon and ham till bacon is brown.
- Drain off fat.
- Add in the onion and saute/fry till limp.
- Stir in flour.
- Add in the potatoes and clams.
- Cook 15 min; add in lowfat milk, salt, pepper, and butter.
- Serve warm.
- Garnish with paprika and parsley flakes.
- Mo's is a favorite small seafood restaurant in the west coast at Newport, Oregon.
- Famous for its clam chowder.
