Kathy Jo's Fair Champion Apple Pie
- 5 tablespoons small pearl tapioca
- 5 cups sliced apples
- 1 14 teaspoons cinnamon
- 14 teaspoon cinnamon
- 14 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 12 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- Soak tapioca in 2/3 cup cold water for one hour.
- {Phil's note: I can almost promise you this is NOT the quick cook kind}.
- Then add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
- Put in an unbaked pie shell 9 inch, I assume if not tell me Phil Top with crumbs.
- Bake at 400F for 15 minutes then lower to 350 for 35 minutes.
