Pepper Steak

  1. Cut beef into strips; brown beef with oil in skillet.
  2. Add to crockpot.
  3. Add the next 7 ingredients and pour over the beef.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours until meat is tender.
  5. Add the tomatoes and green peppers; cook on low for 1 hour more.
  6. Combine the cold water and cornstarch to make a paste and stir into liquid in cooker.
  7. Cook on high until thickened.
  8. Serve over rice, or noodles.
