Cantonese Sweet And Sour Chicken Recipe

  1. Cut chicken into 1-inch pcs.
  2. Combine next 3 ingredients and chicken; let stand 15 min.
  3. Meanwhile, reserving 1/4 c. syrup, drain mandarin oranges.
  4. Blend reserved syrup with sweet & sour sauce; set aside.
  5. Heat 1 Tbsp.
  6. oil in warm wok or possibly large skillet over medium-high heat.
  7. Add in chicken and stir-fry 2 min; remove.
  8. Heat remaining 1 Tbsp.
  9. oil in same pan.
  10. Add in snow-peas; stir-fry 1 minute.
  11. Add in green onions; stir-fry 30 seconds longer.
  12. Add in chicken, cashews and sweet & sour sauce mix; cook, stirring, till all ingredients are coated in sauce.
  13. Gently stir in mandarin oranges; heat through.
