An Updated Ham Salad

  1. Start out by hard boiling the eggs.
  2. I love to use an egg timer for this, it works so great, takes about 810 minutes.
  3. Then after pouring out the hot water, refill the pan with cold water and ice cubes to let the eggs cool down.
  4. Peel the eggs, then dice eggs, ham and red onion and combine in a medium-sized bowl.
  5. Add the mayonnaise to this, then the dill seed and onion powder, with a pinch of garlic powder to taste.
  6. Makes enough for about 6 sandwiches.
  7. Serve either as sandwiches on bread or with crackers.
