An Updated Ham Salad
- 2 whole Eggs
- 3 cups Ham
- 1/4 cups Red Onion
- 3/4 cups Mayonnaise
- 1- 1/2 teaspoon Dill Seed
- 1/4 teaspoons Onion Powder
- Garlic Powder
- Start out by hard boiling the eggs.
- I love to use an egg timer for this, it works so great, takes about 810 minutes.
- Then after pouring out the hot water, refill the pan with cold water and ice cubes to let the eggs cool down.
- Peel the eggs, then dice eggs, ham and red onion and combine in a medium-sized bowl.
- Add the mayonnaise to this, then the dill seed and onion powder, with a pinch of garlic powder to taste.
- Makes enough for about 6 sandwiches.
- Serve either as sandwiches on bread or with crackers.
